The European Institute of Public Administration (EIPA) will held a special seminar week in Maastricht, the Netherlands, between 26 and 29 April, 2010, focusing on the relationship between the European Union and its closest neighbors in the Western Balkans, in Eastern Europe and in the Mediterranean.
EIPA dedicates a full week on this specific pattern of EU external relations, aimed at reflecting on and discussing the major political and economic dimensions of Enlargement and Neighborhood policies as well as to provide the participants with the best analytical tools to understand and implement the corresponding cooperation and assistance instruments.
These objectives will be reached through a combination of workshops, simulations, debates and presentations delivered by top experts from different backgrounds.
