World Congress of the Renewable City 2009

The World Congress of the Renewable City 2009 (WCRC) will be held in Sydney, Australia, March 8-11, 2009. The four-day congress will confront the greatest challenges facing cities worldwide and present the latest innovations from leading specialists in green energy and sustainable urban development.

WCRC 2009 is an international congress for all those in the business of fighting climate change and dramatically lowering dependence on non-renewable resources: influential industry leaders, professionals, researchers and policy makers. It is designed as a platform to share fresh and practical insights in the fields of urban development, design, energy and water.

This inaugural four-day event is expected to attract over 1,000 delegates from all parts of the world to gain access to prestigious speakers and experts in the interaction of urban infrastructure, city development and design, carbon emissions policy, renewable energy and resource efficiency technology and related investment finance and policy dimensions.

The Congress will be of particular interest to developers, energy providers, property managers, development investors and energy finance leaders, government officials; federal state and local, urban planners, architects and engineers.
