On 13 November 2009, the Government held the regular Government-Donor Round table, chaired by Minister of State Genc Pollo and H.E. Henk Van Den Dool, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands as the rotating chair of the Donor Technical Secretariat. Minister Pollo said that the Government had maintained a “steady rhythm of reforms” and had commenced further ambitious initiatives. Ambassador Henk Van Den Dool paid tribute to the “effective bridging role” performed by DSDC between donors and the Government and called on line ministries to take on even greater leadership of the Sector Working Groups (SWGs). A presentation of the IPS implementation was made by DSDC Director, Valbona Kuko, who recognized the work undertaken to strengthen the role of SWGs and the preparation of a Harmonization Action Plan to implement the Paris Declaration.
